This cot and the matching furniture items are produced by an environmentally responsible manufacturer. Eco-friendly measures taken include using water based paints and using non-toxic paints and glues on the furniture. The factories have also developed recycling systems  that have resulted in eco-friendlier manufacturing processes. 

Timber waste is used rather than electricity to efficiently heat the timber kilns and workshops. The remaining waste is used to make timber briquettes , which are an efficient and eco-friendly alternative to fossil fuels. All timbers are grown locally to the factories, reducing the carbon footprint, and all production is FSC certificated.
